Classic Christian Radio--Ageless Music...Timeless Message

Robert

Email:  manager@ccr891.com

Station Manager of Classic Christian Radio.
bulletI got my start in radio in 1986 right here is Lapeer county. Once I sat down in front of a microphone I was hooked. I love radio and how it can affect lives.

After spending some time in front of a microphone, I started working in the technical side of radio and was chief operator at a local station for many years.

I moved to Tucson, AZ in 1998 to work for Family Life Communications. I returned to Lapeer County in 2000 and started my own business, Technical Services International. I’ve done broadcast engineering for several stations in southeast Michigan.

bulletWas there someone who was influential in leading you to Christ?

Steve Lear. He lived a life before me that made me ask what was different about him and how could I have what he had.

bullet

Who would you most like to have coffee with?

Bob B. and Darcey C. as long as Darcey doesn’t make the coffee.

bullet

Do you have any hidden talents?

I thought about procrastinating once but put it off.

bullet

How would you like your tombstone epitaph to read?

I drank Darcey’s coffee.

bullet

Do you have a pet peeve?

People who ask “how are you”, and don’t expect a real answer.

bullet

What food do you always have to have in the house?

Peanut Butter.

bullet

What is your life's passion?

To effect lives for Christ. And take off and land on an aircraft carrier.

bulletTell us about your family:

I’ve been married to the same woman since 1970. We have two daughters and two grandsons.

bullet

Who do people say you most resemble?

It’s not so much who I resemble but I have been told that Tom Cruise is going to look like me when he gets to be my age and physical condition.

bullet

Tell us about other interesting jobs that you have had:

I’ve flipped burgers at a fast food restaurant and mopped floors in a hospital, and a trail rider at a ridding stable.

bullet

What do you like to do in your spare time?

The last time I had spare time I took a nap.

bullet

What is your favorite late night snack?

Nachos and hot salsa.
